Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in the city of Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes, as well as Krauss, were among the Grammy Award winners who were among the youngest. Alison Maria Krauss - born July 23rd 1971 - is a popular American bluegrass and country vocalist. Alison Maria Krauss started her music career at a young age, winning local competitions at the age of 10. She recorded for the first recording at the age fourteen. In 1985 she was signed with Rounder Records. Her first solo album was released in 1987. She was invited to join the band with who she continues to perform Alison Krauss and Union Station as well as releasing her debut album in the group in the year 1989.
