Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. He was one of the members of One Direction. He was born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on 1 February 1994, he's the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, which is where he formed his own band, composed of 3 classmates. He identified as the White Eskimo. The group won the Battle of Bands in 2009 because of their exceptional performance. Though he's been interested in music, despite the fact that he had a passion for it, he was looking at becoming a lawyer as well as a an physiotherapist. For a while he worked part-time in a bakery in his city to help economically at home. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and was a part of Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. For that reason his band were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant on The X Factor suggested Harry Styles join a band called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. The formation of the group became a reality in the year 2010 when the five youths were funded by Simon Cowell. The band were singing songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates to win the contest. However they were 3rd place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles' group didn't win, but Cowell nevertheless paid 2 million pounds to One Direction for them to make a deal with Syco.
