Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a singer who plays back actor, actress and musician. She is primarily the performer as well as a music director for Tamil as well as Malayalam-language movies. She first made an appearance in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam and Malayalam debut with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was born in an Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. The younger sister of her is an assistant researcher from Belgium who works in Leuven. Jeremiah was raised in Chennai and went to National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea began studying classical piano at age eight. She was a massive geek who wanted to become psychiatrist. She performed in The Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars when she was 10. This ensemble shaped her singing and music composition career. She also was a theatre performer in the college she attended as well as appearing in various stage plays organised in collaboration with The Madras Players and EVAM. She was also the President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea's theatre career began in the role of Girishkarnad Nagamandala. In 2006, she was part of the leo coffee commercial with Shiva. She also appeared in a show that was shown on Podhigai. She has appeared in various shows across India. She was briefly featured in Kanda Mudhal's final scene (2005). After performing a number of songs in Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu He asked her to be cast the leading female characters in his next project Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea is Kalyani who is wife and mother to a man with whom she loves her. Andrea was selected for the part after Simran and Tabu were two actors who were offered the role by producers. The movie was announced in the early part of 2010. It was first released in Venkat's Mankatha in the year 2011, which featured a variety of actors. Annayum Rasoolum was a romantic film by Rajeev ravi which was released in 2013, was her Malayalam debut.
