Pics Tawny Kitaen Feet and Legs Julie Ellen "Tawny" Kitaen (August 5 1961 - May 7 2021) was an American model, actress and a media personality. She began her career as a television actress, being featured in the TV films Malibu (1983) as well as California Girls (1985). She also starred as Gwendoline, a comedian in the Land of the Yik-Yak (both 1984) and Bachelor Party (1985). Kitaen was well-known for her performance in metal music videos that featured heavy metal such as Ratt's "Back for More", Whitesnake "Still of the Night", and "Is This love" (all 1987). Kitaen also appeared on reality TV shows, such as Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew (2008) and The Surreal Life (2006) that detailed Kitaen's struggles with substance abuse. She was born Julie Kitaen in San Diego, California in 1961, the eldest of three children born to Linda Kitaen (nee Taylor) who was a housewife and a once-in-a-lifetime beauty pageant contestant, as well as Terry Kitaen, an employee of a neon sign company. Kitaen's mother was of Irish as well as Scottish descent was married to Terry Kitaen (an employee of a neon sign company). Her father was Russian Jewish. Kitaen was born Jewish. Kitaen first began using the name "Tawny" at the age of 12 years old, and on her own initiative. [6] As a child she suffered from dyslexia, which eventually led her to drop out of Mission Bay High School. Seven years ago, at the age of 14, with backstage passes after a Peter Frampton concert at Balboa Stadium,[8] she experienced the privileged treatment given to Frampton's wife Penny and was determined to get the same for herself.
