Alicia Silverstone is the daughter of Monty Silverstone (father) and Deidre R. Radford. She was born in Hillsborough on 4 October 1976. She has half-siblings from her father's prior marriage. Her family was the typical middle-class family of San Francisco. When she was six years old she started modeling, and was featured in Domino's Pizza's debut commercial on television. Silverstone was educated in Crocker Middle School in San Mateo as well as San Mateo High Schools. In 1992, she appeared in her first credited role in the show The Wonder Years. Both critics and viewers praised her for the role and she received an award. Aerosmith's Cryin video and Amazing were both released in 1993.
